AI in Doctilla

AI that proposes. People who decide.

Doctilla uses AI to save you typing, searching and grouping. It never makes a quality decision, and it can't change a record without a person confirming the change.

The rules it works to

  • Proposals, not edits. Every suggested change is shown beside what it would replace. Nothing is written until a person confirms it, and the confirmation is recorded with their name.
  • No AI judgements. Doctilla may say a person should look at something. It never says something is fine, compliant, supported or closed.
  • A permanent record.Conversations are stored with the record they're about. Messages can't be edited or deleted, by anyone, which the database enforces.
  • Provenance on everything. Records that started as an AI suggestion are marked as such, with who confirmed them and when.
  • Checked, not trusted. When AI names a record, Doctilla checks it was one of the candidates offered, so a model can't point a change at the wrong record.
  • Optional by design.Everything Doctilla does can be done by hand. Where it helps, there's a no-AI path too, such as suggesting mappings by keyword.

Where it's used

Ask Doctilla

Your data

What happens when AI is used

When you use an AI feature, Doctilla sends the model the text that task needs, such as the record you're discussing, the candidate records for a mapping, or the text of a datasheet you uploaded. Requests go through OpenRouter, an AI gateway, to the model that serves them.

Curavest does not use your records to train AI models. The model providers process the request to produce a response; see our privacy policy for the providers we use and how they handle data.

Dictation uses your browser's own speech recognition. Doctilla never records, stores or uploads audio.

Assistants

Use Doctilla from Claude or ChatGPT

Doctilla has a connector for AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol, including Claude and ChatGPT. Each person signs in with their own Doctilla account and chooses whether to allow changes. The assistant then works under exactly the same permissions as that person does in the app.

The connector can read, search, create and update records. It can't delete anything, and it can't make the decisions Doctilla reserves for people, such as closing a CAR, approving a document or setting a supplier's status.
