Introduction

Audits, corrective actions and reviews all end in the same place: someone has to do something by a certain date. In this video, we'll look at actions, how to keep them moving, and how Doctilla reminds people before anything slips.

Every action in one place

The actions page lists every action in the organisation, however it was raised: from a corrective action, an audit, a management review or on its own. Each one shows who owns it and when it's due, and anything overdue is in red. The raised from column takes you straight back to where it came from.

Filtering

Search for an action, or filter by status and by where it came from. Filtering to open actions is a quick way to see what's still to do before a management review or an external audit.

Updating an action

You update an action where it lives. Here, on a corrective action's D five, we'll open one. Change the owner, the due date or the status. You can also say how you'll know it worked: checked at the next audit, or measured against a target, with an effectiveness check of its own.

Completing an action

When it's done, complete it. Doctilla records the date, and the action moves off everyone's overdue list. If it turns out it wasn't really finished, it can be reopened.

Notifications

Reminders arrive in the bell at the top of every page. View all opens the full history, which you can filter by type. Click any notification and it takes you to the record it's about.

Setting the reminders

You decide when reminders go out, in Settings, under workflow. For each kind of record, choose how many days before the due date the first reminder goes, and whether to keep reminding while it's overdue. Doctilla checks every morning and sends what's due.

Next

That's actions and reminders. Next, we'll log a customer complaint, and see what it's really costing.
