Introduction
The management review is where top management looks at how the quality system is doing and decides what needs to change. ISO 9001 lists exactly what has to be covered. Doctilla lays the review out that way, and helps you fill it from the records you already have.
Planning the review
Here's the second half review, planned for next month. It records the date, who chairs it and who attends. Below are the inputs, one box for each item clause nine point three point two asks for, from the status of previous actions to the performance of your suppliers.
Inserting a Doctilla summary
Where Doctilla holds the data, insert Doctilla summary adds the figures for the period: nonconformities and corrective actions, audit results, how suppliers performed, progress on objectives. It adds to what you've written and never replaces it, and nothing is saved until you choose to.
Your own words
The figures are a starting point. Add what the numbers don't say: what the team made of them, and what changed in the business. Then save.
Decisions and actions
Outputs record the decisions: opportunities for improvement, changes to the quality system, and resources needed. Anything that needs doing becomes an action, raised straight from the review with an owner and a due date, so it's on the list for next time.
Approved minutes
When the minutes are agreed, they're approved, and from then on they're final. Here's the first half review: approved, with every input and decision exactly as it was agreed, ready to show an auditor and to export in your branding.
Next
That's the management review. Next, the improvement programme, the weekly quality update, and the cost of quality.
