Introduction
Auditors and customers ask the same question in different ways: show me where you meet this requirement. Standards lets you hold the clauses of a standard, or a customer's own requirements, and map your records to each one, with a note of what each record shows.
Your standards
Doctilla doesn't ship the text of any standard. You import your own licensed copy, from a spreadsheet, a Word document or a PDF, and it stays in your organisation. Tresmere holds two: their main customer's supply chain requirements, and their own factory production control rules.
Clauses and mappings
Inside a standard, the clauses are laid out in order, each with the number of records mapped to it. Map a record to link evidence by hand, and say what it demonstrates. That rationale is the whole point: it's what you'll read out when an auditor asks.
Proposing mappings
To speed things up, choose propose mappings. Doctilla's AI looks at the clauses with no accepted mapping and suggests records that might meet them, each with its reason. It only ever proposes. Nothing counts until a person accepts it.
Reviewing proposals
Proposals wait in the review tab. Read each rationale, edit it if it needs it, then accept or reject. Accepted mappings record who confirmed them and when. A rejected pair is never proposed again.
Clause coverage
Clause coverage shows which clauses have an accepted mapping and which don't. It's a statement of what's in your register, not a judgement of compliance, and Doctilla doesn't make one. Filter by product, and export an evidence pack to hand to a customer or an auditor.
Next
That's standards. Next, traceability: following the links between records.
